This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit www.banniz.com or contact us, why we collect it and what rights you have. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

2. Visiting the website (hosting and server logs)
The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When you open a page, your browser automatically sends technical data to Netlify's servers: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the referring page. Netlify uses this data to deliver the website and keep it secure, and keeps it only for a short time. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Netlify is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and Netlify's data processing agreement applies.
3. Contact form and booking form
When you send a message or book a call, we receive the details you enter (for example name, email address, business name, country, preferred date and time and your message). The forms are processed by Netlify Forms, and a copy is sent to our mailbox info@banniz.com (Zoho Mail, operated by Zoho Corporation; incoming mail is also forwarded to our Google Gmail account). We use the data only to answer your request and prepare an offer. Legal basis: steps before a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete enquiries that do not lead to a contract after 12 months at the latest; for clients, the legal retention periods for business records apply.
4. Email and WhatsApp
If you email us, we use your address and message to reply. If you contact us on WhatsApp, the message is processed by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. (Meta); please see WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We use WhatsApp only to reply to you and never add you to marketing lists without your consent.
5. No cookies, no tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Your chosen language is remembered in your browser's local storage (key "banniz-lang"). It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
6. Fonts and 3D graphics
All fonts, the 3D graphics library and the animation library are stored on our own web server. Your browser does not connect to Google or any other third party to load them.
7. Links to social media
The footer contains plain links to our profiles on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Snapchat. No data is sent to these platforms until you click a link. Once you are on a platform, its own privacy policy applies.
8. Who receives your data
Only the partners of Banniz and the service providers named above (Netlify, Zoho, Google for email, and WhatsApp if you use it), each only as far as needed. We never sell your data. Where data is processed outside the EU (for example in the USA or Ghana), it is protected by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or because the transfer is needed to answer your request (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).
9. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Where you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Just email info@banniz.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, or the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
10. Changes
We update this policy when our website or services change, for example when online payments are added. The date at the top shows the current version.
